1. Geocoding:
In order to enable analysis of different natural peril and other risks at the property level, geo coordinates (latitude and longitude) are required. We specialise in cleaning dirty address data both residential and commercial in order to enable geocoding (assigning of latitude, longitude) to each individual property. The Geocoding process is described in Exhibit A.
Exhibit A
2. Geo Mapping and Analytics:
Once geo coordinates are assigned to the address data, geospatial mapping and analysis can take place in order to identify addresses exposed to different natural peril and other risks. Exhibit B is an example of portfolio of addresses geo mapped against the flood risk.
Exhibit B
We are flexible when it comes to Raster data sources. We can either source natural peril or other risk Raster data from third party providers on your behalf or you can provide your own raster files for mapping.
Once mapping is completed, we conduct analysis on your behalf. This will consider concentrations to different streets, suburbs, states in context of natural peril risk assessed. Example of an infographic created can be seen in Exhibit C.

3. Flood Reporting:
Climate Mapping Services has developed a flood risk assessment application where consumers and businesses can conduct a search and obtain a flood risk assessment report (River and Surface Water Flooding) for their chosen property. The flood risk assessment and site maps provided within this report are based on flood maps of 5-meter resolution where available and 30-meter resolution where the 5m coverage does not exist as shown in Exhibit D. While climate and weather events can be predicted they are not a certainty. The information provided within the flood report is indicative for the property location searched. It is not a substitute for detailed modelling or risk assessment and shall not be relied on or used in the design, planning, production or modification of any flood mitigation, defence works or other construction. For further information or technical overview of the dataset used in our reports please contact us at info@climatemappingservices.com For example of the flood report with 5m resolution please click here and for the flood report with 30m resolution please click here.

4. Geospatial Statistics:
At Climate Mapping Services, we specialize in geospatial statistics, a field that centers on the analysis and interpretation of data with a spatial component. Our expertise lies in integrating statistical methods and geographic information systems (GIS) to examine patterns, relationships, and trends within spatial data. With our solutions, we empower our clients to analyze their geographical concentration and credit modeling with greater granularity and accuracy than ever before. By utilizing techniques such as spatial autocorrelation, cluster analysis, and interpolation, our geospatial statistics services assist our clients in uncovering spatial patterns, identifying hotspots, and making well-informed decisions.
5. Other Solutions:
We offer a variety of other services and solutions: development of stress testing models, capital management, independent ICAAP reviews, recovery plans or any other model development.
Acknowledgement of Country
Climate Mapping Services recognises the First Peoples of this nation and their ongoing connection to culture and country. We acknowledge First Nations peoples as the Traditional Owners, Custodians and Lore Keepers of the world’s oldest living cultures, and pay our respects to their elders – past, present and future.
